Ordering Tips and Suggestions
If you are a first time guest, here are some helpful tips and suggestions for choosing items from our menu:
Looking for Chow Mein?
#17 thru 19 is Cantonese noodles -these dishes have soft egg noodles (flat noodle 1/2cm wide) mixed in with cabbage, bean sprouts, celery and your choice of #19 Special (includes shrimp, chicken and BBQ pork), #18 beef, pork, chicken, or #17 shrimp. Additionally, for $1.00 extra, you can choose to have thin noodles or shanghai noodles #20 thru 26 is our regular Chow Mein -these dishes comprise of cabbage, bean sprouts, and celery along with dry noodles on the side in which you mix in yourself.
Where are the Chicken Balls?
Don't worry, we're asked this question frequently! On our menu they are called Gai Kew. #47 Sweet & Sour Guy Kue is one of our most popular dishes on the menu.
Which shrimp dish do I like?
Two of our more popular shrimp dishes #99 and #92 are slightly different from one another. #99 Battered Shrimp has a thicker coating similar to the Gai Kew.
#92 Deep Fried Breaded Shrimp has a light crumb breading as a coating.
What's the difference between your egg rolls and spring rolls? They are both vegetarian however, #103 egg rolls have a thicker pastry and has cabbage as the main filling ingredient. #A103 Spring rolls have a thinner pastry and has curried rice noodles as the main filling ingredient. They both have other filling ingredients, but we can't give away our recipe.
